1^st day of the itinerary

Kiev - the Heart andthe Capital of Ukraine

Welcome to Kiev- the capital of Ukraine! Kiev is an ancient city with an amazing fate and unique history. Upon arrival, you will be met by an excellent guide speaking your native language and transferred to the
hotel for dinner & accommodation.

2^nd day of the itinerary

Historial centre and Kiev-Pechersk Lavra

After breakfast we will go on an excursion to the city center of Kiev. During the visit of the historical center you will admire St. Vladimir Cathedral, the remains of the Golden Gate, St. Sophia Cathedral, St.
Michel Cathedral, Independence Square, the Opera House, and St. Andrea Cathedral.

In the afternoon you will proceed for the excursion to the famous Kiev-Pechersk Lavra also known as the Kiev Monastery of the Caves, first and foremost it is a historic Orthodox Christian monastery, built on top of a massive series of tunnels. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the one of the largest museums in Kiev with many sub-museums held within it.

ln the evening you will enjoy a typical dinner with folk music at a local restaurant. Don’t forget to prepare your best outfit.

3^rd day of the itinerary

Pirogovo, St. Sophia Cathedral and National History Museum

This morning you will start with an excursion to the open-air Ethnographic Museum Pirogovo. On an area of 150 hectares all the historical and ethnographic regions of Ukraine are represented: over 300 structures of popular architecture ranging from the XVI to the XX century including rustic houses, windmills, and churches.

In the afternoon you will visit St. Sophia Cathedral and the National History Museum. Saint Sophia Cathedral, built in the XI century, is a monastic complex named UNESCO heritage, where you can admire splendid icons and unique frescoes. At the National History Museum, you will admire over 800 thousand unique pieces related to the history and culture of Ukraine.

After the excursion, you will return to the hotel. The evening today will be free.

4^th day of the itinerary

Chernobyl Museum and High-Speed Train to Lviv

ln the morning you are going to visit the Chernobyl museum dedicated to the 1986 catastrophe of the same name which also marked the end of Soviet Ukraine.

In the afternoon you will go to the railway station to take the modern high-speed train for Lviv. Lviv, considered the most westernized city of Ukraine, is also nicknamed the Florence of the East. Upon the arrival to Lviv, you will be met by a local guide speaking your native language and transferred to the hotel for dinner and accommodation.

In the evening you will have free time.

5^th day of the itinerary

Popular Places of Interest in Lviv

After breakfast get ready for the guided tour, where you will discover the historical center of Lviv. Here you will admire the Market Square, Boim Chapel, Bernardini Church, Opera Square, Armenian Cathedral, Medieval Pharmacy & Kornyakt Palace.

In the afternoon you will have time to enjoy a thematic tour of the beer with degustation during which you will have an opportunity to get acquainted with Ukrainian artisan beer.

6^th day of the itinerary

Olesko Castle and Zolochiv Castle

Today full day will be dedicated to the excursion of the castles located near Lviv. The excursion begins with a visit to the castle of the XIII century – Olesko Castle that was the residence of the king of Poland.Nowadays the castle is a museum, where you can admire collections of ancient furniture and works of art dating back to the XVI and XVII centuries, sculptures, paintings, tapestries, weapons, and objects used in everyday life.

The excursion continues with a visit to the castle of Zolochiv, a jewel of defensive architecture, built in the early XVII century on the basis of an Italian architect project. In the courtyard of the castle, we will discover the Grand Palace and the Chinese Palace.

In the evening we will return to our hotel. You will have time to enjoy your last evening in Lviv.

7^th day of the itinerary

Way Back Home

Goodbye Ukraine! After buffet breakfast & check out you will have time for shopping. Transfer to the airport is included. We hope you have enjoyed your trip! Looking forward to seeing you again!
