1st day of the itinerary

Panoramic tour andMagnificent Monasteries

On arrival at Astrakhan International Airport, you will meet our local guide. During day 1 you can enjoy a big sightseeing tour around the city. You will see the main point of interest which is the Astrakhan Kremlin, beautiful central streets, a building of the Indian farmstead. You will visit the exposition in the Kremlin Red Tower, take a walk along the Volga embankment, and during the excursion see a lot of old Russian houses, the Opera and Ballet Theater.

The program also includes visiting the square of Peter the Great, the Annunciation Monastery, the chapel of Nicholas the Wonderworker, the Iranian and Armenian monasteries, and merchant houses.

After lunch in the city, you will have free time to explore Astrakhan on your own. But don´t forget that in the evening you will have dinner at the restaurant of local cuisine.
