In the morning get ready for the sightseeing tour with stops at Palace Square, the Spilled Blood Cathedral, the Kazan Cathedral, the Saint Isaac’s Cathedral, the Admiralty, the cruiser Aurora, and many other places of interest.

After lunch, you will enter the Hermitage museum. Started from a private collection of Catherine the Great, it is now the second-largest art museum that holds works of such famous artists like Leonardo da Vinci, Kandinsky, Picasso, etc.

Today we are going to start exploring famous towns in the suburbs of the city. Pushkin (Tsarskoye Selo) was home for the Russian Royal family. The Catherine Palace was build and furnished to meet the high standards of luxury and taste of that time. It is famous for the Amber Room which was called the 8th wonder of the world before it  disappeared during the 2nd World War. Now we can see its skilfully made reproduction.

In the second part of the day, we return to the city to go to Peter and Paul’s Fortress. The skyline of the fortress with its tall spire has become one of the city symbols. Before dinner, we will enter the Saint Isaac’s Cathedral. You will be amazed by its magnificent interior decoration.

Let’s continue exploring the suburbs of Saint Petersburg with Peterhof, also called “Russian Versailles”. The fountains of the park amaze everyone with their beauty, especially breathtaking Samson Fountain with a water jet going up and reaching a height of 21 meters. All in all, there aremore than 140 fountains in the park, each unique and unforgettable. We will also enter the Grand Palace where the royal family used to leave and feel the atmosphere of the luxury of that time.

After lunch, you will be transferred to the railway station for a trip to Moscow by a Sapsan train. Upon arrival, you will be met by a local guide, who will assist your transfer to the hotel.

Your first day in Moscow will start with an exciting city tour. You will see the most famous places of interest, stop by Victory Park, have a look at Moscow State University, a famous tower building – the heritage of Soviet architecture, and admire terrific views standing on the platform for observation on Sparrow Hills.

After lunch, you will enter the Russian must-see place – Kremlin with its ancient cathedrals, preserved from the 15th century, and have a nice walk on Red Square to have a closer look at different objects located on it, like St. Basil’s Cathedral, Lenin’s Mausoleum, Spasskaya Tower.

In the morning we set for Kolomenskoe estate, a former residence of tsars. You will visit a famous Wooden Palace where you will learn how Russian tsars used to live in the 17th century.

After lunch, experience a Metro Ride in Moscow Metropolitan, founded in 1935. It is not only the most popular mean of transport used by more than 9 million people every day but also an artwork. Then we will enjoy a walk and souvenir shopping in the main pedestrian street – Arbat Street. The music never stops here. Street dancers, musicians, and painters create a unique atmosphere that you will never forget.

In the evening, get ready for great entertainment as we are heading to the Russian circus! The show unites fantastic performances of professional acrobats, dancers, clowns, and equilibrists. You will see artists doing true magic and animals making funny scenes. Each show is magnificent, original, and unique.

Today we go to the Izmaylovsky market where you can buy all kinds of souvenirs and productions of local handicrafts.

After lunch, you can learn more about space exploration history of Russia and see space suits, satellites, spacecraft, missiles, and space equipment in the Cosmonautics Museum. We will then have a pleasant walk in VDNKh Park.

Now you can explore the city by yourself and do some last-minute shopping. Then you will be transferred to the airport. Now it’s time to say goodbye to Russia. Hope to see you again!
