This day will be full of impressions! After breakfast, we will enjoy a boat trip on Balaklava Bay. The bay is cut deep into the crevice of the rock massif and surrounded by picturesque instagrammable views.
After the boat trip, we will visit the Swallow’s Nest in Yalta. This palace was uilt in 1912 on the top of the 40-meter high Aurora Cliff in a Neo-Gothic design and belonged to Baron von Stengel, a German oil industrialist. The building on the cliff looks very romantic and fascinating. The Swallow’s Nest has become the symbol of Crimea.
In the afternoon you will see the Vorontsov Palace in Alupka. It was built in the 19th century for Duke Michael Vorontsov, a Russian nobleman, and Anglomaniac. The palace was projected by Edward Blore, the architect of the British crown, who also took part in constructing the Buckingham Palace. In the architecture of the Vorontsov Palace, Blore combined different styles – English, Neo-Moorish, and Gothic.
In the evening we will go to the hotel in Yalta for overnight.
